Here’s our first look at the 2014 Concours d’Elegance of America at St. John’s, including a big, fat photo gallery.
With more than 275 of the finest classic cars in the world on the show field, taking in the St. John’s Concours is a little like drinking from the proverbial fire hose. This year’s show included a number of exceptionally strong categories, including Evolution of the Sports Car 1900 to 1975, Pickups of the Jet Age, and a retrospective honoring the designs of Virgil Exner.
Any one of these groups could easily make an impressive little car show in itself, and taken together the result is something close to sensory overload. The photo gallery below is intended to serve as a very broad and general view. We’ll be circling back later in the week with additional coverage with a tighter focus, so please stay tuned.
